How do I order?
Please send us your enquiry form with your full delivery and contact details. A sales representative will contact you shortly with a quotation, should you wish to proceed with your order please make the relevant payment and we will arrange for delivery to your selected delivery address. Alternatively you can proceed with your order via our online store.
How do I track my order
We will keep you informed from the moment your order has been paid for in full to the time you have received it. When your order is placed we will send confirmation, once your order is dispatched we will send out confirmation of the courier service selected and their details as well as the tracking number so that you are able to personally track all orders.
Can I return my order?
We provide a returns policy on all In stock furniture purchased. If for any unlikely reason you are not 100% satisfied, please email sales@murrayandwells.co.za and we will arrange for collection with the courier company to collect your order. Your order will need to be returned in the original unmarked packaging. For a full refund, excluding freight costs and a 20% handling fee.
Items will be checked by a warehouse manager. If returned in original undamaged packaging and product is in sellable condition, we will refund you in full (excluding Freight charges and 20% handling fee)within 5-7 working days. Please note that the item is your responsibility until it has been received back into the warehouse.
You will not be refunded the delivery fee under any circumstances. – Please note that you will need to notify us within 24 hours from delivery should you wish to return your order.
Please contact a sales representative should you decide to return your order and they will assist with the return address and returns procedure.
We unfortunately do not accept returns on any custom made furniture.
Can I change or cancel my order?
You may cancel or change your order within 24 hours of payment received or alternatively until you receive proof of dispatch. Should you wish to change you order after the 24 hour period or dispatch note received, we will treat this as a refund procedure.

We offer a premium assembly service. A Murray and Wells representative will come out to your premises, unpack and assemble your order and remove any packaging. Please contact a sales representative for a quote on this service.

How much will delivery cost?
Our delivery lead time is 2-3 working days from date of payment received with express courier and 5-7 working days on economy service. Once we have received the information for your delivery and the area in which we need to delivery we will get a quote from our courier company.

- These Website Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern the ordering, sale and delivery of Goods, and the use of the Website.
- These Terms and Conditions are binding and enforceable against every person that accesses or uses this Website (“you”, “your” or “user”).
- The Website enables you to shop online for an extensive range of furniture supplies (“Goods”).
- Important Notice
- These Terms and Conditions apply to users who are consumers for purposes of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (the “CPA”).
- If there is any provision in these Terms and Conditions that you do not understand, it is your responsibility to ask Murray And Wells to explain it to you before you accept the Terms and Conditions or continue using the Website.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended or must be understood to unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any right or obligation, as the case may be, created for either you or Murray and Wells in terms of the CPA.
- Murray and Wells permits the use of this Website subject to the Terms and Conditions. By using this Website in any way, you shall be deemed to have accepted all the Terms and Conditions unconditionally. You must not use this Website if you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- You acknowledge that stock of all Goods on offer is limited. In the case of Goods for sale by Murray and Wells, Murray and Wells will take all efforts to monitor stock levels and ensure that when stock is no longer available, that offers are discontinued on the Website. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of stock. When Goods are no longer available after placing an order, Murray and Wells will notify you and you will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid by you for such Goods.
Delivery of goods - Murray and Wells offers 2 (two) methods of delivery of Goods to you. You may elect delivery via:
- Express Courier
- Economy Courier
- Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we will either replace it, or credit your account, subject to the below terms.
In general, you can return an unwanted product to us, provided:
- it is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached;
- It is in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (if applicable).
- You log a return via email within 2 days of delivery to you of the unwanted product. After 2 days, you can only return a product if it is defective.
- We reserve the right to refuse a return, if the unwanted product is returned damaged, not in a re-saleable condition or missing any accessories
- Privacy policy
- We respect your privacy and will take reasonable measures to protect it.
Not what you ordered?
If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you, or if the product is not as described on the Website (including if it is missing any accessories), please notify us and we will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available); or refund your account with the purchase price of the product within 24 hours of the return.
7. Products damaged on delivery
Should a product be damaged at the time of delivery / collection, please notify us within 24 hours of such delivery / collection by logging a return via email: sales@murrayandwells.co.za, please send images and a full written complaint.
We will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice repair / replace the product as soon as possible (if such repair / replacement is possible) or refund your account with the purchase price of the product
8: Defective products
We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of a high quality and without defects.The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section 3:
- faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
- damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
- damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;
- damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product; and
- We reserve the right to refuse a return, if the unwanted product is returned damaged, not in a re-saleable condition or missing any accessories
- Standard Warranty
We offer a 6 month factory guarantee on all our products – We will repair or replace defected, unsafe products due to factory fault or should stock not be available we will refund in full.
We do not guarantee the following:
- Furniture item that has been altered or changed in anyway
- Product has been exposed to extreme climate such as rain or sunlight
- Product has been cleaned with harsh cleaning products
- Daily wear and tear
- Murray and Wells will need to see the product before a decision is made as to replace, repair or refund the client.
10: Charges
- All returns on purchases that have no defect will be charged a 20% handling fee.
- Delivery costs will not be refunded under any circumstances.

- Murray and Wells may change pricing at own discretion
- Stock is not guaranteed until paid for in full.
- All custom made furniture is none refundable. Custom made furniture is not returnable unless due to incorrect manufacturing or does not look like image agreed on.
- Custom made orders are confirmed on 50% deposit and balance payment is due before dispatch.
- Quotations are valid for 15 days.
